On the other hand, They have low intake of Protein, Fats, Calcium, and important Vitamins and Minerals. Diba these foods are empty in calories? But high in sodium and sugar. Paano sila lalaking healthy? Especially when they’re 3 years old, They’re very active and would
need a lot of energy which they can only get from
the right nutrition. So, what should we feed them? A lot of nutrients. The right portion of Vitamins, Proteins, Minerals, and even Fats. and how do you do that? It’s pretty simple. You just follow the Go, Grow, Glow food guide. Start with food na rich in healthy carbs. Like pasta, potatoes, and rice. These are the foods that provides energy for your active little one. The right amount to give is about 1/3 of the plate. Then, may body building food. This protein source should take up 1/6 of the plate. That’s your fish, lean meat, beans, and legumes like Monggo. They are all good sources of protein for muscle and tissue growth. And let’s start the kids early with fruits and vegetables. Plate should contain 1/6 fruits, and 1/3 veggies. Let’s be creative in preparing their meals. Tyaga lang talaga! Like it? Milk is also a good source of Calcium for strong bones and teeth. And of course, other macronutrients.
