My symptoms were basically my eyes were just
super dry, I’d wake up in the morning and I’d have to you know just rub my eyes to get
the moisture flowing. I think emotionally I was just upset that I was uncomfortable
all the time and there is some fear in that. That you can live the way you want to live.
That you can’t look the way you want to look. I think for me it was, it had a lot to do
with my self-confidence because I just didn’t feel good when I looked in the mirror They put a little gel like substance around
your eye to protect your skin than they cover your eyes with some eye pads and then you
kind of just lay back in a chair and Dr. Chu he precedes to administer the IPL treatment.
Which basically is just this handheld little light, pulsing light and it feels like maybe
a little bit of a rubber band snap around the eye and then that takes literally like
five minutes to do both eyes. And then once that part is done they basically will squeeze
the eyelid and so to try to get the oils to try to move through the eye again. I’d blink
and I felt like I actually had some moisture. Like they were just smoother. Everything in
my eye was smoother it wasn’t like sandpaper anymore. So it was just more comfortable just
reading and just walking around in general. Being outside with my kids was just- everything
was more enjoyable. Once I discovered Dr. Chu and IPL it was life changing for me.
