    what lure would you recommend for super pressured, shallow walleye? I've really only had luck with slender spoons but wanna try out some different ones. Give me some ideas please

    So what depth do you not release fish at ( assuming it's legal length) ? There's a bunch of people who say 20ft. I would say it's deeper, especially in winter, since as long as you don't freeze the fish it's going to be able to recover better in the water on its own. Obviously pan fish are more vulnerable to predation during recovery but bigger fish have a chance, right?

    I am from California, I have never been ice fishing, but I love your videos. We only get enough ice to ice fish on the high sierra lakes here, and I don't usually go up that way in the winter time.

    Kneeling pad, I use a square flotation seat pad, works great for ice fishing and doing work around the house.
